Learning Objectives

  • Practice with the Data Stewards Canvas as a repeatable tool for stewardship engagements
  • Identify how stewardship bridges technical, legal, and ethical requirements for trusted data collaborations

Structure

  • Concept Development (20 minutes): Mini-lecture on the history and rationale of stewardship
  • Interactive Exercise (20 minutes): Guided walkthrough of the Data Stewards Canvas
  • Discussion (10 minutes): Open dialogue to pressure-test real-world applications
  • Summary & Wrap-Up (10 minutes): Key takeaways, next steps, and resource pathways
